Graham Lee is an author, coach, supervisor, therapist and mindfulness teacher.
Graham has been an executive coach for more than 25 years, working with senior leaders and their teams across a wide range of private and public sector organisations.
His distinctive contribution to the field of coaching and leadership development has been captured in his numerous professional articles and conference presentations, as well as two books: Leadership Coaching: From Personal Insight to Organisational Performance (Kogan and Page, 2006), and: Breakthrough Conversations for Coaches, Consultants and Leaders (Jan 2022).
The originality of Graham’s approach comes from his integration of several areas: first, his business experience in the pharmaceutical industry as an international marketing manager for Beecham and then Glaxo; second, his training and experience as a psychologist and psychotherapist; and third, his role in leading strategy consulting projects with Cambridge Pharma Consultancy and then IMS Health. Combining a depth of psychological understanding, with a focus on supporting leaders to use their authenticity and clarity to drive strategic change, Graham has enabled hundreds of leaders and managers to enhance their awareness, emotional intelligence, team leadership, and commercial contribution.
The Breakthrough Conversations approach has emerged from Graham’s work over 30 years as a coach, therapist and mindfulness teacher. As a practitioner researcher he has focused on integrating elements of the most effective techniques he has come across for evoking change, and Breakthrough Conversations represents the fruits of that experience. He is now focused on sharing these ideas with leaders, managers, and coaches.
